“ビオトープ” とは、「生き物の、ありのままの生態系が保たれた空間」という意味の環境用語。
これを新しいかたちのセレクトショップとして都会に実現しようと、2010年3月、東京・白金台に、ライフスタイルからファッション、ボタニカル、フードまでを提案する複合型ショップ「BIOTOP」をオープンしました。
店内は、世界中から集められたトップメゾンや注目ブランドに加え、ナチュラルコスメ、生活雑貨などライフスタイルを豊かにするアイテムが並びます。また中庭には象徴的なカシノキのツリーハウスがそびえ、植物のある暮らしを提案するボタニカルショップ「BIOTOP NURSERIES」や、緑を眺めながらゆったりと過ごせるカフェ＆レストラン「irving place」が併設しています。
2014年4月には、大阪・堀江に2店舗目をオープン。街のランドマークとして位置付けられています。
"BIOTOP" is an environmental term referring to "a region uniform in environmental conditions and creatures' habitat". In order to transform this concept into a specialty store in the city, we opened 「BIOTOP」, a complex shop offering fashion, botanical, and food, in Shirokanedai, Tokyo in March 2010.
In the shop, pieces of premier luxury brands and featured brand selected from all over the world, and goods which color your life, such as natural cosmetics and lifestyle goods are lined up.
In the courtyard, a symbolic tree house made of oak are built. A botanical shop 「BIOTOP NURSERIES」 offering life with plants, and a cozy cafe & restaurant 「irving place」 where you could enjoy great meal while looking at greens.
In 2014, April, we opened 2nd store in Horie, Osaka. It is qualified as a landmark of the city.
